Trauma and Tenderness

Timothy Morton is the philosopher primarily known for inventing the idea of hyperobjects. Hyperobjects refers to that wish elude and transcend our immediate frameworks but touches us in our actual everyday life, like climate-change and the covid pandemic.
Timothy has collaborated with numerous artists like Björk and Laurie Anderson.
He is the Rita Shea Guffey Chair in English at Rice University and the author of multiple books for example “Humankind: Solidarity with Nonhuman People” and “Dark Ecology: For a Logic of Future Coexistence”.
Our poetic selves

Gry Worre Hallberg is the artistic director of Sisters Hope, a performance group with a practice of numerous immersive interventions. Gry was the creator of Dome of visions, a dreamspace for a new city in Copenhagen. Her thesis revolves around how a sensous society can unfold in the hands of artistic and sustainable practices.

Deepa Iyer is a South Asian American writer, strategist, lawyer, and racial justice advocate.
She has just published the book Social Change Now: A Guide for Reflection and Connection based on her work with the Social Change Ecosystem Map.
Logic and love
How can we come together when we don´t understand the details of the challenge or how it should be addressed? What has love to do with logic and how can we navigate between urgency and long term investment? What is the power of making? And what is it like to form collective practices whit great diversity?
Pernilla Glaser talks with Mathilda Tham. Tham is a professor in design at Linnaeus University where she founded Design + Change, a program situated in the intersection between artistic practice and sustainability. Mathilda has long been a pioneer pushing and inspiring the fashion-industry to move towards more sustainable production.
